On completion of an MBA, he founded Quarry Dougall, the leading global legal recruitment consultancy of the 1980s and 1990s. QD grew to in excess of 150 people before its acquisition in 2000 by TMP / Hudson. Gareth joined Shilton Sharpe International to create Shilton Sharpe Quarry in 2005. He specialises in advising law firms on strategic issues, including mergers and team hires, and acts for senior partners and teams. "I am delighted to be part of a truly innovative consultancy, offering transparency (via our client and candidate extranets) and a more scientific approach to the recruitment process with our psychometric and other assessments. In Shilton Sharpe Quarry I believe clients and candidates have access to a revolutionary and positive recruitment experience. "We seek to lead the legal people space. In doing so we provide demonstrable added value to enable lawyers, law firms and legal departments to realise their individual, firm and corporate goals through the effective recruitment, development and retention of their most important resource - people." |
