Helmut Rogalla studied law at university in Frankfurt and was admitted as a German lawyer in 1999. He then joined the legal department of the insurance company R+V Versicherung AG in Wiesbaden as an in-house lawyer. He subsequently moved to the Frankfurt office of Ashurst where he practised as a corporate lawyer for over three years. In 2003 he was seconded to the London office of the firm where he also qualified as a UK solicitor. Helmut Rogalla joined Shilton Sharpe Quarry in November 2004.
