Our team of consultants recruits lawyers at all levels of seniority for a broad range of companies, banks and financial institutions. We work on both a contingent and retained basis and represent some of the leading domestic and global brand names. We also recruit for specialist positions such as senior company secretarial roles, heads of compliance and data protection specialists, as well as patent and trade mark agents.

We have a truly international team covering the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Russia, central and eastern Europe, the Middle East, Australia, USA and New Zealand. All our offices are headed by qualified lawyers who specialise in sourcing candidate lawyers in companies, banks and law firms. Generally we source candidates through headhunting, through our own housestyle advertising, recommendations, networking and referrals.

From a client’s perspective, at Shilton Sharpe Quarry we believe our role has a much wider remit than the mere introduction of CVs. We believe in finding the right people for the right role. (It is for this reason that we offer psychometric assessments in the UK as part of our recruitment and screening process.) Contingent Assignments
We have a comprehensive, highly developed and sectorised database of quality candidates drawn from both private practice and in-house. This means that we are able to identify quickly candidates at all levels of seniority who have the relevant skill set, from those with more esoteric skills, to those who have a broader commercial background.
Retained Advertising Campaigns
We have the expertise and a lengthy track record of running highly effective, eye-catching advertising campaigns, both for recruitment and for profile raising purposes. We have run campaigns on behalf of many companies, banks and financial institutions. Many of our clients wish to target the recruitment market using both offline and online media with the aim of proactively focusing on individuals with specific skill sets who may not otherwise be looking to move. In-house continues to remain a very popular career choice and many candidates see this as an opportunity to work more commercially in a business-oriented environment, as well as, in some cases, gaining a better work/life balance. Our success rate in such campaigns approaches 95%.
Executive Search
We have the capability to combine advertising campaigns and executive search on challenging assignments. We also regularly run stand alone executive search campaigns.
