Sona Walentin studied law at university in Trier and Cardiff, where she undertook an LL.M. She then pursued her doctorate at the University of Trier. Having qualified as a German lawyer in 2001, she worked for Allen & Overy in Hamburg. In 2002 she moved to the Frankfurt office of Shearman & Sterling where she practised M&A and corporate law. Sona joined Shilton Sharpe Quarry in Frankfurt in 2005. Sona leads SSQ’s private practice business in Germany.
