SSQ operates in New Zealand through an exclusive association with Hobson Leavy Legal. Hobson Leavy Legal is led by Stephen Leavy. Stephen is a qualified New Zealand lawyer who practised as a solicitor with leading New Zealand law firm Russell McVeagh before moving to London and joining what was then the UK’s number one legal recruitment consultancy, Quarry Dougall, in 1997. Stephen returned to New Zealand in  2002 and was a partner with another leading New Zealand executive search firm before founding Hobson Leavy with Carrie Hobson in July 2006.
