Shilton Sharpe Quarry Voted Best Legal Recruitment Firm 2007

London, Wednesday 11 April 2007

Shilton Sharpe Quarry (“SSQ”), the specialist international legal recruitment consultancy with offices in the UK, Germany, Italy, Australia and affiliated offices in New Zealand and France, won the coveted Best Legal Recruitment Firm 2007 Award at the annual Recruiter Awards for Excellence held at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Park Lane on Tuesday 27 March 2007.

SSQ was recognised for its innovation where the Awards host, Marcus Brigstocke, announced that ‘SSQ have impressed their clients by using a mix of traditional recruitment methodologies and effective use of recent technological tools such as candidate and client extranets and video CVs’.

"They're good at building long-term relationships, rather than just eager to pick up the fee for a placement" was the testimony of one client whom the judges called upon in support of their decision.

Gavin Sharpe, SSQ Director: “We are delighted to have won this prestigious award. We have been operating for four years and are proud at how quickly we have established ourselves as pioneers in the legal recruitment sector. It is especially encouraging that our innovation has been recognised together with our other core values of transparency and quality.”

The Best Legal Recruitment firm category was sponsored by The Lawyer magazine and the award was presented by the magazine’s publisher Libby Child to Gavin Sharpe.
